About the conference
DESCRIPTION
This conference looks at practice of and research into Performance in Education (PIE). The purpose of the conference is to widen the research base for supporting the use of performance in all aspects of education (teaching, consolidating teaching, and testing/evaluation) across the curriculum (medicine, law, history, etc.) and is not limited to English language education.
The conference will include practical presentations and workshops as well as research presentations and workshops on how to conduct research.

4. Student Showcase Exhibitions
With permission of the students, submit student-created work to be shared and featured in an open exhibition:
Poetry, stories, essays and written work.

Recorded student performances or presentations
Posters, drawings, photos, and other visual artwork
5. Student Film Festival
Students submit their films to be shared at the film festival or enter them in the contest to be judged.
6. Interesting presentations by teachers on Saturday and Sunday. (Can include student/teacher performances.)

7. Research Auditions, where participants present their research proposal to the panel of experts (including the plenary speakers and other research experts) and then the panel asks questions and gives advice to the presenter.
8. Networking Event, Gran Piatto Italian Restaurant, where participants meet, connect, and share their interests.
9. Interesting cultural tour to Nagoya Castle and Tokugawa Garden/Art Museum--a chance to go back in time to the period where warlords with their samurai ruled Japan.
