2026 Giro Finale Itinerary
Day 1 Fly to Brussels, Belgium
Day 2 Arrive in Belgium. Walking Tour. Visit the Story of Chocolate Museum.
Day 3 Drive to Calais War Cemetery to honour Sergeant Charles Adair. Lunch in Calais, France. Drive to Ypres, Belgium. Walking Tour. Visit the In Flanders Field Museum. Menin Gate Ceremony where we will remember Pte. Stephen Borthwick of Thedford, Ontario.
Day 4 Fly from Brussels to Rome, Italy.
Day 5 Excursion to Cassino. Visit the Cassino Commonwealth Cemetery and honour Corporal Robert Adair. We will also remember Pte. Warren Kellestine of Melbourne, Ontario.
Day 6 Full day in Rome.
Day 7 Visit the Vatican and Vatican Museums. Drive to Siena and Florence.
Day 8 Full day in Florence.
Day 9 Drive to Villanova War Cemetery to honour Private Kenneth Adair. Continue onto to Padua, Italy. Walking Tour.
Day 10 - Fly home from Venice, Italy

During their travels, SDCI students have paused to remember 15 brave Canadians from Strathroy-Caradoc.
It has been my pleasure to lead over 320 students around the World. SDCI is a great place to work. Teaching History at SDCI is rewarding and provides opportunities to learn everyday. Over the last 17 years I have become passionate about the exceptional opportunity that student travel and learning outside the classroom represents.
