The bulletin has been updated with the latest in Funkoville 2023 happenings! Check back in to see more and send in questions to our social channels!
Here’s some of what to expect at Funkoville at San Diego Comic-Con 2023. Along with the below selection or convention exclusive collectibles, there will be a variety of mainline items to snag as well. We won’t ruin the surprise. We just know you’re going to love them!
Having a ticket does not guarantee any specific item(s) at the Funko booths. Items may sell out by the time patrons reach the front of the line.
Already signed up and packing for our Camp Fundays experience? So are we! Tickets sold out so fast, it had us dizzy. This year is our largest Fundays ever! Here are some bulletin notes about Fundays to help answer questions leading up to our big adventure together.
How do I participate in Fundays 2023?
This year’s theme is Camp Fundays! Full of classic camping games and team comradery, there will be a variety of contests, exclusive giveaways, and special guests. Fundays tickets are separate tickets, not connected to your convention tickets. Fundays tickets are required for entry to this unique Funko experience. Tickets are sold out. See you soon!
When and where is Fundays?
Fundays is Friday, July 21, 2023
Location: The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park
222 Marina Park Way, San Diego, CA 92101
Time: 5:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Doors open: 5:00 PM

What is the Fundays Box of Fun?
Camp Fundays bring a whole new Box of Fun! There are 4 new team themes and each box is full of limited edition, exclusive collectibles only available through the Box of Fun available on Funko.com or the in-person Fundays celebration. More details about the Fundays Box of Fun coming soon!
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Yes, we check IDs when checking everyone in. There's no age requirement to attend. While we do not recommend this event for small children, children are welcome. However, each and every attendee will require their own ticket, regardless of age.
Is my Fundays registration/ticket transferrable?
No. The ticket buyer must use their own ticket. It is not permissible to transfer or sell your ticket. Any attempts at selling tickets will result in cancellation of said ticket.
Why can't I change the name on my second Fundays ticket?
Tickets will only have the name of the buyer. The second ticket is looked at as a "+1" of the buyer. The holder or the tickets and their 1+ must check in together.
Why is the limit only two (2) Fundays tickets per customer?
Our ticketing limitations are designed to allow as many people to attend Fundays as possible. We want to make sure we spread the tickets out and don't want people purchasing blocks of tickets. We reserve the right to cancel any attempts to purchase more than two (2) tickets.
Why is the policy only one (1) Box of Fun per Fundays ticket-holder/attendee/online purchase?
We want those tickets and Boxes of Fun to go to as many fans who would like to actually attend the event and collect extremely unique items for their sets. Fundays is a celebration of the Funko family and community, where we can also give back to our dedicated Funatics. The idea is to come to the event and experience Fundays together - not just collect the free stuff or snag bundles of boxes from the website.
Do I have to bring a printed copy Fundays ticket to the event?
No, but we recommend it. You can show your ticket on your phone to check-in. Printed versions help us check everyone in faster to start the show though.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
No! We will check IDs at the entrance and the name must match the ticket. You can only redeem one (1) ticket per attendee. If you somehow have multiple tickets, you will not receive multiple Boxes of Fun. Only one (1) Box of Fun will be given to each ticket-holder.
I don't have tickets for SDCC. Can I still attend Fundays?
Yes! You do not need to be a SDCC badge holder to be able to attend Fundays. It’s a separate event happening Friday July 21st, 2023.
Will you be selling exclusives at Fundays?
No, Fundays is a celebration! We will not be selling any items at the event.
If I need ADA assistance when I arrive, how do I check in?
No problem! When you're arriving to check in for Fundays, just talk to security or a staff member and we'll assist you in-person.
How will seating at Fundays work this year?
Fundays is being held at a new location this year but seating will be similar. Please be in line with who you want to sit with and check in together - groups of 10 are not necessary but ideal! You will be assigned to a table at check-in. You will not be able to save seats at your table for someone who is arriving later. You may be able to trade with other willing attendees, but the best chance of sitting with who you want to is to arrive together! The check-in lines are organized by Camp Fundays teams, so be prepared to pick your desired team since once you are checked in you cannot switch lines to pick a different team or sit with others from a different team.
For additional questions, please reach out to Funko's social media channels on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram @OriginalFunko and check in regularly to see updates.

Thursday, July 20th to Sunday, July 23rd 2023
San Diego Comic-Con is being held in San Diego, California at the San Diego Convention Center.
San Diego Convention Center is located at 111 W Harbor Dr, San Diego, CA 92101.
Accessible with official SDCC badges, fans are invited to enter the streets of “Funkoville'' to explore the remarkable town, which is offering a variety of exclusive products over the course of San Diego Comic-Con.
Only two of the booths are restricted by ticketed time slots. Tickets to purchase exclusive products at Funko’s Bitty Mart and Main Street booths (the conjoined Funko Donuts, Funko Motel, and Crown Bowl sets), are awarded via lottery through the San Diego Comic-Con portal. Starting July 3rd at 12 PM PT, the San Diego Comic-Con Exclusives Portal (available under “My Orders” when logged into your SDCC Account) will be open for attendees to elect which booth experiences they would like a chance to win access to. Now this is electing for the chance to win these timed experiences, not a guarantee. For more information about the Exclusives Portal and Submission of Interests please click through to San Diego Comic-Con’s post “Exclusives How-To”.
The Exclusives Portal will be open for Submissions of Interest from 7/3 at noon (12 PM) PT to 7/16 at 11:59 PM PT. Random selection of slot winners will happen on 7/17.
Only those who are awarded ticket time slots will be able to purchase exclusives at those two Funko booths at their allotted times. Visiting the booth does not guarantee you any specific item(s) at the Funko booth. Items may sell out by the time you reach the front of the line. More details about the booth entry will be coming soon!
Attendee & Professional badges only.
One ticket per person, per day.
This ticket is for a chance to purchase items at the Funko booth. Having a ticket does not guarantee any specific item(s) at the Funko booth. Items may sell out by the time patrons reach the front of the line. Tickets are for a specific date and time and must be redeemed for that specific session by the person awarded the ticket. It will not be possible to get tickets for multiple time slots for an attempt to purchase multiple times per day. Tickets are not transferrable. Only attendees with Funko booth tickets will be able to purchase products at the booth, and there will be a strict purchase limit of one of each item. Patrons will not be able to line up at the Funko booth before their session begins. ADA attendees must also go through their ticket session process, as detailed above.
Collect as many of the 18 possible pins exclusive to Funkoville! Here's a pin collector checklist to keep track of what you find.
Will the Funko Booth be open to the public at all during SDCC?
Yes. The two ticketed booths will be open to the public each day after ticketed sessions are complete. Most of the booths are not restricted to timed reservation tickets, so feel free to meander around all of Funkoville.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
You must have your SDCC 2023 badge on and visible when you check in for your reservation time. While we do not recommend this event for small children, children are welcome. However, each and every attendee will require a ticket for the two booths that are time slot restricted entry, regardless of age. Children may accompany their parent(s)/guardian(s) to their time reservation but they will not be allowed to purchase any items if they do not have their own ticket.
