Carpe diem!
Hello! I am Sourav Das. I am pursuing PhD at Purdue University focusing on experimental measurement and modeling of tissue fracture and deformation using imaging during minimally invasive surgery, drug delivery. I am being supervised by Professor Pavlos Vlachos and Professor Adrian Buganza Tepole.
I completed my Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University. I worked there at Bio-inspired Design and Structural Optimization Lab under the supervision of Dr. Alok Sutradhar. Previously, I have completed my B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (known as BUET). I am an aspirant researcher, who wants to pursue his passion as his profession!
My research interests are in Biomechanics, Tissue Mechanics.
I am an avid reader, poetry & music lover (a great fan of Indian classical Music & The Beatles)! I love to travel and meet new people too! Besides Physics & Math, Literature, History are my other favorites!
