Update Social Development Association (SDA), a pro-poor, non-political and non-profit development organization, was established in 2003 at a remote Bangladesh village named Bitman at Eliotgonj south uinion under Daudkndi Upazila (sub-district) of Cumilla district. Today, at the end of July 2022, SDA is implementing several projects by engaging more than 60 staff to provide services to some 3767 thousand beneficiaries with around 6066 members of 15 unions/municipalities in 7 upazilas under 1 districts through 08 branch offices. It was registered from Social Service Department in 2004, NGO Affairs Bureau in 2013 and Microcredit Regulatory Authority in 2012. SDA is governed by a General Council (GC), the supreme body of the organization, interacting with the management through a 15 member elected Executive Committee (EC)
