WHAT: SD34 DFL Precinct Caucuses

WHEN: Tuesday February 1, 2022

Due to the immediately challenging situation with COVID-19, Senate District 34 Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) Party is shifting to a Contactless Precinct Caucus using Non-Attendee Forms. We encourage all Democrats who will be eligible to vote in November 2022 to participate. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions or need assistance with your form.

Caucus via the Non-Attendee Form

  • Download the 2022 Non-Attendee form

  • Fill out the Personal and Contact information and complete the caucus eligibility statement. If you need to find your precinct number, please click the "Find Your Precinct" button below.

  • On your form, you can request to run for Precinct Chair or Vice Chair who will lead their neighborhood area in DFL action for the next two years.

  • Volunteer to serve on a pre-convention committee

  • Run to be a delegate at the Senate District and County Conventions

    • Request to be a Delegate or Alternate and assist with Pre-convention committee to the March/April Senate District Convention (date pending redistricting), which will endorse MN House/Senate candidates. Check the box under Senate District.

    • Request to be a Delegate or Alternate and assist with Pre-convention committee to the May Hennepin County Convention which will endorse candidates for Hennepin County Attorney and Sheriff . Check the box under County.

    • ***At this time you do not need to declare a candidate for either of these two races, you can skip that section***

  • If you would like to submit a resolution for consideration in the DFL Party Platform, download the MINNESOTA DFL RESOLUTION FORM and fill out for each resolution that you plan to submit. Please submit the completed resolutions with your completed 2022 Non-Attendee form.

  • Identify if you would like more information about serving as an Election Judge. Click here for more information about serving as an election judge from the MN Secretary of State.

Signing your Non-Attendee form

The form is fillable. You can:

  • Print, sign, scan/photograph and email.

  • Type your name in the signature line and state that your email constitutes your signature.

To return your completed form, please use one of the options below. Please note that forms must be turned in by TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 2022 AT 9:00 PM in order to be accepted.

ALL FORMS MUST BE RECEIVED BY TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 2022 AT 9:00 PM. NO EXCEPTIONS.
