Pre-Convention Committees

In order to assist with Convention preparation, we have six committees that are given directions specific to their assigned committee.

• • Endorsement–Set up Q & A for candidates seeking endorsement and plan to communicate information to delegates

  • Nominations–Recruit and screen candidates for Senate District officers, directors and State Central Committee members

  • Credentials–Handle registration for convention and delegate counts during the meeting

  • Arrangements–Handle room assignments, signage, tables, setup, food, etc for the Senate District Convention

  • Constitution and By-Laws–Create draft Constitution for the new Senate District approval at Convention. Propose Rules for Convention. (2 subcommittees ideal)

  • Resolutions–Organize resolutions passed at precinct caucuses, determine voting method, and carry out passage of resolutions at the Senate District Convention.
