Louis McNutt and his family have lived in Buffalo since 2016. They enjoy doing work around the house and spending time in our community. He is a dad to three, a husband, a Minnesotan, and part of the AFSCME Local 221 union.
He believes everyone has something important to contribute and it takes all hands and all voices to ensure our state thrives. Our rural community is as critical to Minnesota’s success as metro communities and he believes that we can be stronger by honoring our unique contributions and facing challenges together.
He is the DFL endorsed candidate running for the SD 29 Senate seat. He believes that “politics as usual” isn’t working for most Minnesotans. We elect people into office to listen to us, not to talk at us, and he wants to bring your voice to the legislature. Please consider supporting him with your vote this August and November 2026!
Emily Dahlgren has lived in Delano with her husband since 2021. She is a former United Auto Worker, went to college to be a paralegal, and was the main caretaker to her father who passed away this year.
She believes in prioritizing people over profit and that a strong middle class benefits everyone. Education is important to her and she wants every child to be set up for success so we can build a stronger community together. Her dream is to have a single payer healthcare system so no one is forced to choose between their physical or economic well-being. Being a former union member herself, she knows the power of collective bargaining and how important it is to protect workers rights. She loves bird watching, fishing, and enjoying the many parks and natural resources our state has to offer and will fight to protect those resources for future generations.
In her spare time she fixes the historic home she shares with her husband. She loves sewing, gardening, and working on anything with an engine.
Colton Kratky was born and raised in Texas until he enlisted in the Marine Corps and served 6 years as a radio operator and computer administrator. In 2018, he deployed on the USS Essex in support of the 13th MEU and upon returning and finishing his active duty contract, he and his wife moved to Minnesota to be closer to her family and where she grew up. He almost immediately fell in love with the state and everything it has to offer.
He decided to run for office after he found out he was going to be a father and wanted to ensure that his son and future generations would have a place to grow up and make their own one day. His other reasons for running are his oath and his faith. When he enlisted he took an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States and he wants to make sure that our constitutional rights in Minnesota are not trampled on. His faith calls for him to take care of those in need, love my neighbor, and take care of the planet.
