Tiffany Tung
President
Tiffany Tung started playing piano at the age of 7. She has been the winner of many competitions including American Proprotégé, Elite International, AVSOMC Bach Competition, SCV MTAC Contemporary Festival, Satori Young Pianist Competition, Southwestern Youth Music Festival, CAPMT Romantic Festival, and the Complete Works Bach Festival. In her own time, she enjoys playing cello, reading, and solving puzzles.
Social Media Manager
Caleb Jeon is a studious piano player with five years of training under his belt. He has won competitions like the 2018 SCV MTAC Contemporary Music Competition and the Southern California Youth Junior Bach Festival (branch division). When he is not at the bench working hard, Caleb enjoys to read, play video games, and go on trips with his family.
Secretary
Richard An started playing violin at the age of 7. He is a member of the Santa Clarita Valley Youth Orchestra and West Ranch High School's Chamber Orchestra. He has won awards at the Satori String Contest and has completed music theory levels of the Music Teacher's Association of California's Certificate of Merit program. Besides playing the violin, Richard enjoys skateboarding and bicycling with his friends.
Esther An has been playing the violin since the age of 7. She was a participant of CODA's 2024 Honor Symphony Orchestra Concert. She is a member of the Valley Youth Philharmonic Orchestra as well as a member of West Ranch High School's Chamber Orchestra. She has won awards at the Satori String Contest. In her free time, she enjoys drawing and chatting with friends.
Ian Lee is a 10th grader at West Ranch HIgh School. He started his cello studies at the age of 7, and was the principal cellist of the CSUNYO. He has won competitions like the Santa Clarita Symphony Orchestra Youth Concerto Competition, Antelope Valley Bach Competition, Satori Summer Music Festival, and the National League of Performing Arts. In addition, Ian was also a scholarship winner of the Las Angeles Violincello Society Scholarship Audition.
Jacelyn Cheng is a violinist who began her studies at the age of six. She has participated in recitals and won a variety of competitions, such as MTAC Concerto Competition, VOCE state competition, and the Southern California Junior Bach Festival. In her free time, she likes to skateboard and listen to music.
Camille Song
Camille Song, 17, has been playing the violin since the age of 5. She has been a member of SCV Musicteers since she was 12. She has many accolades from competitions such as the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) Competition, the Southwestern Youth Music Festival (SYMF), and the Antelope Valley Bach Festival. She is currently a student the Colburn School of Music under the tutelage of Henry Gronnier.
Valerie Chen began playing violin at the age of 8. She was a member of the California All State Honor Orchestra and the California All Southern Honor Orchestra. She has been the first-place winner of multiple competitions, including the Complete Works Bach Festival and the LANSUM International Music Festival Competition.
Jason Chen started playing violin at the age of 8. He was a member of the California All State Honor Orchestra, the California All Southern Honor Orchestra, and the Colburn Sinfonietta. He has been awarded top prizes in multiple competitions, including the Satori Strings Contest and the Antelope Valley Bach Competition.
Catherine Chen began playing piano at the age of 5. She has been the winner of many competitions including solo competitions sponsored by the Music Teachers' Association of California, the Southern California Youth Junior Bach Festival, and the Southwestern Youth Music Festival. Outside of piano, she enjoys watching anime and playing Valorant with her friends.
Celine Chen began playing piano at the age of 4. She has won countless accolades, was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall and Philharmonie de Paris, and has toured throughout Europe. Aside from being a pianist, she is also a flutist and currently a student at the Colburn School of Music.
Kevin Cho the former Musicteers President of the 2019-20 school season, has been under the tutelage of Rufus Choi since 2012. An avid member of multiple music organizations throughout the U.S., Kevin strives to share his music with as many people as he can. When not at the piano, he is usually playing ROTMG with Remy, snowboarding, or listening to AKMU’s latest album!
Erin Kang started playing the piano and violin when she was 5 years old. She has participated in several solo and duet competitions that have been hosted by the Music Teachers’ Association of California, the Southern California Junior Bach Festival, the Southern Youth Music Festival, and more. During her free time, she enjoys solving Rubik’s cubes and playing video games with her friends.
