The method of teaching in schools is in general to teach how to answer questions and to memorize them for the examinations. They are also asked to memorize everything that is written on their books without any question. The approach is devoid of any hands-on activities and there is total lack of encouragement to ask questions. When they are exposed to “Learning by Doing” they will start asking questions and get their concepts clear. 

To make physics understandable, perceivable and enjoyable, so that at least some of the students can make it a passion, Samanta Chandrasekhar Vigyan Club (SCVC) has conducted various training workshops on low-cost hands-on physics experiments so as called Innovative Experiments on Physics for secondary school science teachers of Odisha. The organisation has also conducted class-room demonstrations in various schools in and around Balasore district.
