SCV35 Hall of Fame Nominations
SCV35 Hall of Fame honors individuals and/or groups whose deeds and character exemplify outstanding achievement in their life’s work and/or service to their communities. An honoree’s spirit and leadership are worthy of recognition and have inspired praise and gratitude among his or her peers.
Requirements to be Eligible:
The nominee must exemplify the highest standards of citizenship, ethical conduct, and character.
The nominee must have a special achievement in their area of specialty and/or received honors, awards, or other recognition on a local, regional, national, or international level. Medal of Honor recipients will be granted early admission to the selection process.
The nominee has demonstrated leadership, character, and service to society in general or to a specific segment of society
The student or employee nominee will become eligible after five (5) years following graduation or separation of employment from the District.
Categories of Eligibility (with specific criteria):
Student - alumni, athletes, teams, student organizations, etc
Achieved high award at District, region, state or national level
Provided leadership that led to significant betterment of the District or programs within the District
Brought honor to the District and/or community (i.e. academic, athletic, artistic, professional)
Provided service to the community, area, state or nation
Employee - educators, staff, coaches, administrators, academic leaders
Provided leadership that has led to significant achievements by students
Provided leadership that has led to significant betterment of the District or programs of the District
Individuals who have gone on to achieve outstanding careers at other institutions
Provided significant service to the District, community, area, state or the nation
Community - community member, leader or community organization
Contributed to the District in attaining regional or national recognition
Provided significant achievement that brought honor to the District
Provided service to community, area, state or the nation
Contributed to the District individual team or group
Nominations for posthumous awards will be accepted.
Accuracy and completeness of information provided may effect the outcome for the nominee. Nominator must provide a current contact phone number or email for the nominee (although both methods of contact are preferred.)
Specifically address the criteria above with examples that will help the committee evaluate the contributions and/or achievement of your nominee. Include timeframes and/or longevity, if applicable.
