SCV FOAM stands for the Santa Clarita Valley Fraternal Order of the Alchemy of Mashing. We are a Home Brew club focused on gathering together beer enthusiasts who not only brew beer at home but people who have an appreciation for Craft Beer. You do not need to brew beer to join the club. SCV FOAM is brand new, established in 2022 as a chapter of the Bakersfield FOAM club which has supported and encourage us to start our own club. The meetings are once a month hosted at different locations published on our meeting calendar. The meetings provide a place to share our passion for the love of brewing, seeking and tasting great craft beer. Our meetings will rotate every three-months cycling between Educational, Social and Experiential. Allowing for each type of meeting every 3-months. This will include opportunities such as attending club brew sessions, educational activities and guest speakers who can share their wealth of knowledge, attending brew festivals and taste testing's, serving our beers at festivals, Club Parties and Sensory sessions and more so we can build a community of Craft Beer Lovers here in our SC Valley.

All are welcome to join us, and we encourage everyone to come and experience a meeting, but please keep in mind some activities require membership. Joining as a member is simple and can be done on our website. There is no test or requirements except you must be of legal drinking age because alcohol will be present. The membership covers 1 year and includes a membership fee which is used to cover the expenses for the clubs' annual operational cost. All additional costs for members and guests could include costs for events, competitions, shirts, meals and more. Meetings are generally open to non-members however some meetings will be closed to members only and will be noted on our club calendar.

We are a brand new brew club, and are excited to begin to gather and share our passion for the craft of beer throughout SCV with the intent to create a place where we can meet, teach and learn, also to challenge, and grow in our love for craft beer.
