Fundraising Committee

Goal: To raise money via fundraising events and other methods throughout the year.

Fundraising will help the SCTSEF provide scholarships to graduating seniors each year, classroom needs for our academic and shop rooms that were not budgetedd within the school or programs for students.

A working goal to achieve a multi-year project of establishing a Memorial Pavilion on campus as an outdoor education and healing center for students at Sussex County Technical School

Alumni/Sponsorship Committee

Committee Head: Rachel Lauck, Teacher at Sussex Tech and Treasurer of SCTSEF

Goals:

To make connections with alumni and encourage involvement in donations, events, and updates on the school.
To reach out to local businesses for fundraising and sponsorship.

Marketing Committee

Committee Head: Stacy Crosson, Vice Principal of Career and Technical Education at Sussex Tech

Goal: To promote fundraising events and achievements of the SCTS Education Foundation.

Scholarship Committee

Committee Head: Lisa Blauvelt, Teacher at Sussex Tech and Vice President of SCTSEF

Goal: To create, assess, and award graduating Sussex County Technical School seniors with monetary scholarships.

2024 Graduating Seniors are encouraged to see the Guidance Department to obtain the Requirements to apply for the 2024 Educational Foundation Scholarship or Click Here to view requirements.

Memorial Pavilion Committee

Committee Head: TBD

Goal: To raise funds to build an outdoor pavilion as a learning center on the SCTS Campus. This Pavilion would provide a space for classroom opportunities and a remembrance tribute to students and staff we have lost at Sussex County Technical School. Pathways, benches and shrubbery will be included featuring the names of alumni who have passed by memorializing them through plaques and bricks. Our goal to have this Pavilion established is the year 2030.
