4th Year Fellowship In Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy

The Combined Stem Cell and Cancer Cellular Therapy Fellowship Program is designed to provide comprehensive training in both stem cell transplantation (SCT) and cancer cellular therapies (CCT), including CAR T cell therapy. This innovative program will equip physicians with the necessary skills and knowledge to become independent providers in cellular therapies while also fostering research opportunities in both clinical and basic science. The one-year program is designed to provide an incomparable, well-rounded training experience while allowing for flexibility to address the fellow’s specific goals.

Faculty have extensive knowledge and connections within the cellular therapy/SCT community and are involved with cutting edge research nationally and internationally. Close collaboration with faculty in Pediatric SCT & CCT who have diverse clinical, translational and basic research interests, high patient volumes, exposure to novel cell-, gene-, and immune-based therapeutic strategies, and a close collaboration with an internationally recognized Pediatric Hem/Onc, SCT, and CCT center will prepare the fellow for a successful career in the field

Application Process

Applications are currently being accepted for the SCT/CCT Fellowship beginning July 1, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

American Board of Pediatrics certified
Have successfully completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in pediatric hematology-oncology

To complete your application, you will need:

Division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, Stem Cell Transplant & Regenerative Medicine

The Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology is one of 18 divisions in the Department of Pediatrics of the Stanford University School of Medicine, and currently includes 30 faculty members. Our faculty are in the midst of one of the most stimulating and diverse intellectual environments, which embraces innovation and celebrates unconventional ideas and new perspectives. The Division faculty together strive to excel at the three traditional academic medical center missions: outstanding clinical care, excellence in training and education, and impactful research.

The Pediatric Division of Stem Cell Transplantation and Regenerative Medicine is very proud of the outstanding compassionate care that we provide our patients along with conducting state of the art basic and translational science on stem cell biology, cellular immunology and transplantation biology. The division is focused on the comprehensive evaluation and care of patients with complex hematological malignancies, bone marrow failure syndromes and a variety of genetic disorders where bone marrow transplantation can provide benefit.
