Eligibility Requirements
Must be a high school senior in the Tidewater Peninsula area of Virginia.
Must plan to attend and be accepted to South Carolina State University.
Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Complete the Application Form: Fill out all sections of the application form completely and accurately.
Gather Required Documents:
Official high school transcript.
2 Letters of recommendation. One letter must be from an individual employed at your school.
Completed application. (Only completed applications will be considered. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.)
Write a 200-250 word Essay:
Topic: How will your chosen major positively impact your community?
Attach your essay to the application form.
Notification and Follow-up
Scholarship recipients will be notified by email and via telephone call.
Scholarship recipients must provide verification of enrollment and class attendance at South Carolina State University.
Scholarships will be awarded once a verification of enrollment letter from South Carolina State University is received.
