Virtual Campus

SCSD Credit Recovery is available for students in grades 9-12 who have failed a course with both grade AND attendance of greater than 50%.

SCSD Marking Period Recovery is available for students in grades 9-12 who are currently enrolled in and attending the credit bearing class at their high school. Teachers can choose to provide 'recovery' for their own students who failed marking periods by enrolling the failing student in the appropriate course and assigning topics/units that a student needs to complete/pass in order to be in good standing in the current class. This work is completed under the supervision of the current teacher. ​

The Virtual Campus for Credit and Marking Period Recovery is hosted in Canvas and includes courses authored by SCSD content area teachers to reflect the state standards as well SCSD guidelines.

Requests will be reviewed by Central Office and notification of approval or denial will be communicated by Susan Tanner.
