The 2020-21 School Year provided a unique opportunity to start the year with a week of PD as well as offer weekly PD each Wednesday via Microsoft Teams Meetings.

All staff throughout the District started the year by participating in an hybrid online learning module called: Best Practices in Virtual Teaching. In this course module, participants were asked to identify areas of strengths and opportunities in past practice in online instruction, explore best practices for creating compelling online learning experiences, create a vision to address the unique challenges and opportunities of teaching and learning during the 2020-2021 school year, and develop an action plan to begin implementing the vision related to identified strengths and opportunities and based on best practices for online instruction.

Each week during the school year, teachers spend a half day working within their buildings and the other half of the day choosing from a variety of professional development options specific to the unique needs of the grade levels and content areas.
