About Us

Have you ever wanted to just dance around the room? Now you have the chance to learn and do it while having fun, meeting new people, burning calories and improving your cardiac health. Dancing is an exercise of the mind and body. We offer more than 20 classes each week. Visit one of our classes from the schedule and see if this form of exercise is good for you.

Dance Connection is a chartered club in Sun City Summerlin. We have four officers: President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. 

Our instructors have many years of experience and are friendly, helpful and understanding. They have the ability to offer alternatives to moves that may be difficult or too complicated. Some of our instructors are residents who volunteer their time while others are under contract to Dance Connection and provide a fee-based service. 

We hold a complimentary election luncheon every October. Interested parties can participate in up to two free class choices prior to membership to try a class to see if it is something you might enjoy. Just visit the specific class of interest and let the collector know that you are trying your free class. Class schedule is shown on our home page. It is necessary to complete a release of liability form in order to participate in a class. 

This completed form is required even if you are not a member, but taking your free trial class. If, after your trial classes, you wish to join Dance Connection, a check or cash in the amount of $17 made payable to Dance Connection is to be given to the collector/instructor for any of the Dance Connection classes. There is no discount for partial year registration (except for the months of October, November and December, which is $8 for the remainder of the year).
