Welcome to the SCS PTO
The SCS PTO is made up of parents, teachers and our two co-principals.
The PTO relies on parent volunteers to help us promote the school community and to raise money.
What Does the PTO Do:
- Enhance the Educational Opportunities for all Students
- Foster a Sense of Community
- Support the SCS Teachers and Staff
- Fundraise - We consistently give out more than $35,000 each year to support core student and teacher classroom needs not otherwise met due to budget constraints
It is our hope that every family at SCS will find a way to be involved and support the school, whether it’s through volunteer efforts, monetary support or both.
Getting involved is easy, rewarding and fun! We hope to see you at an upcoming PTO meeting or event.
PTO Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6:00 pm in the Winton Common Room (E-wing)
Free babysitting and pizza

26th Annual SCS Jog-a-thon & Field Day
What is the SCS Jog-a-thon & Field Day?
The Jog-a-thon is the PTO’s second-largest fundraiser of the year!!
It is a fun-filled day where all grades will participate, from Kindergarten through Eighth, excitedly running laps and high-fiving teachers and parents.
At the end of the run, students enjoy a fresh fruit popsicle and then head out to the playground where they will enjoy a picnic lunch, The Big Blue Trunk, a DJ, smoothie bikes, sidewalk chalk, water balloons and lots of other fun activities.
What Does My Kid Need to Bring on Jog-a-thon Day?
• Water Bottle
• Donation Form (at the bottom of this page or donate online)
• Wear appropriate clothes based on the weather and bring a change of clothes if needed
Unlike many other schools, we don’t ask the kids to go out and get sponsored for how many laps they run and instead, we just rely on donations from parents and families.
Our goal is to raise $6,000 and if every family contributes just $20, we will surpass our goal!
You can donate online by clicking here or, you can fill out the donation form below and turn it in to the front desk.
We need lots of volunteers to make this day happen and it’s such a fun day to come and be involved with your children and their classroom.
We need volunteers to help set up, mark bibs, and pass out water and popsicles.
