This is a call for participants/submissions for SCS 2025: an opportunity for members to have a short version of their work in mathematics reviewed by other members. SCS 2025 is modeled after SCS 2022 : see that site for an Overview and details. Check this site for registration and updates/changes from SCS 2022. (No forms yet.) Email: scs.math.2025@gmail.com .
SCS 2025 will host a poster room. It will also host a series of virtual sessions on what makes a good short communication. You must be registered to attend a session and/or to submit a short communication (slide set, poster, or other format). You will be asked to review and submit remarks on submitted entries. Expected time to do all activities is under eight hours (this includes ~4 hours of virtual sessions and time to register/correspond; it does not include time to create and edit a submission). Registered members will have access to session transcripts.
Sessions schedule, times, and format to be determined based on member and organizer availability. Proposed days: Dec 5 Session I, Dec 8 Session II, Dec 19 Session III, Dec 22 Session IV, Dec 29 Session V. Proposed topics: Audience ; Length ; Format and Style ; Issues using AI . Proposed Format : Round Table discussion.

Proposed Deadline for concluding SCS 2025 and opening of Poster Room: Dec. 30.

There is no fee for registering, and your email address will only be used for SCS correspondence.
If you participated in SCS 2022, you can use that email and registration record, or make changes to it.
