Screenshots and Recordings
All screenshots and screen recordings captured by ScrollShot are saved locally on your device in the Pictures/ScrollShot or Movies/ScrollShot folder. These files are never uploaded to any server, cloud service, or third party.
Permissions
ScrollShot requests the following Android permissions solely for its core functionality:
Accessibility Service: Used for silent screenshot capture (no screen-sharing dialog), shake gesture detection, volume button shortcuts, and auto-scroll for long screenshots. This service does not read, collect, or transmit any personal data.
- Display Over Other Apps: Used to show the floating capture button overlay.
- Notifications: Used to display capture results with share and edit actions.
- Storage/Media: Used to save screenshots to your device gallery.
Third-Party Services
ScrollShot does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or data collection SDKs. The app contains no ads.
