Scroll Limit respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Scroll Limit app.

Scroll Limit is designed to be privacy-focused. We do not collect personal information such as names, email addresses, or account details.

However, limited non-personal data may be processed to support core app functionality, including subscription management and app stability.

2. On-Device Usage Data

Scroll Limit estimates your scrolling activity by combining Apple Screen Time data with your self-reported scroll durations to provide its core features, such as:

• Estimating scroll counts per app

• Enforcing daily scroll limits

• Tracking focus sessions and schedules

• Displaying usage insights and streaks

This data:

• Is processed and stored locally on your device

• Is not transmitted to our servers

• Is not shared with third parties

• Remains entirely under your control

3. Screen Time API

Scroll Limit uses Apple's Screen Time API (FamilyControls, DeviceActivity, and ManagedSettings frameworks) to read your app usage data and optionally block apps during focus sessions or when scroll limits are exceeded.

This data:

• Is accessed only with your explicit permission

• Is processed entirely on your device by Apple's privacy-preserving frameworks

• Uses opaque tokens that do not reveal app names or personal activity to us

• Is never transmitted to external servers

• Cannot be accessed by us or any third party

You can revoke Screen Time access at any time through your device's Settings.

4. Subscriptions and RevenueCat

Scroll Limit offers optional subscriptions.

Payments and subscription management are handled entirely by Apple's App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information.

To manage subscriptions and verify entitlement status, Scroll Limit uses RevenueCat, a third-party service. RevenueCat may process:

• Anonymous app-specific user identifiers

• Basic diagnostics related to subscription validation

This data:

• Is used solely for app functionality

• Is not linked to your personal identity

• Is not used for advertising or tracking across apps or websites

5. Notifications

Scroll Limit may send local notifications (such as scroll limit warnings, focus session reminders, and weekly digest summaries). These notifications:

• Are generated entirely on your device

• Do not involve any external server

• Can be disabled at any time in the app settings or your device's notification settings

6. Diagnostics Data

To ensure the app functions reliably, limited diagnostic data (such as crash reports or performance information) may be collected automatically by third-party services or the operating system.

This data:

• Does not include personally identifiable information

• Is used only to maintain app stability and performance

• Is not used for tracking or marketing purposes

7. Children's Privacy

Scroll Limit does not knowingly collect personal data from children. The app does not include user accounts, social features, or targeted data collection.

8. Data Security

Scroll Limit does not store personal information on external servers. All usage data, settings, calibration preferences, and focus session history remain on your device under your control.
