The international workshop SCRM aims to bring together experts, early-career researchers, and students in the field of strongly correlated quantum systems. The event focuses on emergent phenomena including Mott insulators, unconventional superconductivity, quantum spin liquids, strange metals, and topological phases—while promoting cross-disciplinary collaboration across many-body physics, band theory, numerical methods, and experiments. Through this dialogue, the workshop seeks to develop a unified, accelerated strategy for advancing our understanding of strongly correlated materials and their quantum phases.

Theoretical investigations at SCRM focus on the application of ab initio electronic structure methods, many-body quantum theory, advanced numerical algorithms, and model Hamiltonians to strongly correlated systems, density functional theory (DFT), dynamical mean-field theory (DMFT), exact diagonalization (ED), density matrix renormalization group (DMRG), quantum Monte Carlo (QMC), topological quantum matter, and machine learning approaches for quantum materials. These theoretical and computational methods provide microscopic insights into electronic correlations, magnetism, superconductivity, topological phenomena, and emergent quantum phases.
Experimental investigations at SCRM focus on uncovering emergent quantum phenomena using state-of-the-art characterization techniques. Topics include angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES), scanning tunneling microscopy (STM), neutron and X-ray scattering, Raman spectroscopy, transport measurements, magnetization studies, ultrafast spectroscopy, and advanced microscopy. These techniques provide direct insight into electronic structure, spin dynamics, lattice excitations, and quantum phase transitions in strongly correlated materials.
