Our Vision Through the Partnership
This consortium aims to serve institutions across North India, with a focus on fostering collaboration, inclusivity, and community-building among researchers working in diverse areas of quantum condensed matter physics.
Our key objectives include:
Promoting collaborative research through the sharing of resources, expertise, and ideas.
Organizing high-quality academic events, including schools, workshops, and conferences.
Facilitating access to national and international funding opportunities to support collaborative research initiatives.
Strengthening national and international collaborations and creating opportunities for researchers, students, and institutions to engage with the broader scientific community.
Additionally, the consortium will support activities in collaboration with our network partner, the Institute for Complex Adaptive Matter (ICAM, USA), through the AccelNet Program: https://www.icam-i2cam.org/accelnet.
About our Research Interests
The Consortium is an interdisciplinary alliance of leading research institutions and scientists committed to advancing the understanding of complex quantum phenomena in condensed matter systems. By integrating theoretical frameworks with cutting-edge experimental techniques, the consortium aims to unravel the intricate behaviours of materials where electron interactions give rise to novel states of matter.
Research Focus Areas:
Topological Materials
Exotic Quantum Phases in Correlated Systems
Spin Liquids
Electronic Band Structure of & Dynamics in quantum materials
Quantum Many-Body Effects in Materials
By fostering collaboration across disciplines and employing a combination of analytical, numerical, and experimental methods, the consortium strives to contribute significantly to the development of next-generation quantum materials and technologies.
