Hello Tigers! I am so excited to be teaching at Newberry Middle this year! I graduated from Claflin University with a B.A. in English and Winthrop University with a Master's in Teaching Middle Level Education. Here at Newberry Middle, I serve as the Student Council Advisor. I enjoy hanging out with family and friends, playing and coaching tennis, and binge watching shows on Netflix. 

My professional affiliations include the South Carolina Association of Black School Educators, South Carolina Association of Middle-Level Educators, National Council of Teachers of English, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated.
