Recordkeeping

It is imperative the Association maintain a current listing of all homeowners. If you haven’t done so already, please contact the Treasurer immediately. Your e-mail internet address would also be appreciated.

Annual Dues

Dues in the amount of $125.00 per lot are payable January of each year.

The Scripps HOA consists of 136 lots.

HOA Activities

Beach Picnic (August/September)

Annual Meeting (September/October)

Architectural Control Committee (ACC)

The committee is made up of the Board of Directors and architectural rep, Lyle Bakker. No construction, nor addition to or change or alteration to any structure or landscape shall be made, except interior alterations, until approved by the ACC. Please submit architectural drawings or equivalent at least 30 days in advance (refer Deed Restrictions, Article V).

Deed Restrictions

If you didn’t receive your copy from the previous homeowner, you can go to our Documents Page and print a copy. Please read and familiarize yourself with its contents.

Specifically, but not limited to:

- Campers, trailers, including boat trailers, are to be parked in the garage or offsite. No trailers may be parked on an HOA lot

- No fences or dog runs are to be erected

- No outbuildings are to be constructed (e.g. tools sheds, gazebos, etc.) in the subdivision

- New construction or alterations to any structure requires ACC approval (see above)

Dog Rules

Dogs are not allowed to wander in the subdivision. In fact, Orion Township has an ordinance about dogs running loose in neighborhoods. Orion Oaks Park has a Bark Park and is a great place to exercise your dog.
