Reporting a Bug

When reporting a bug, please include as much of the following as you can:

• your device model

• iOS or Android version

• scri+ app version

• what you were trying to do

• what happened instead

• whether the issue happens every time

• screenshots or screen recordings, if useful

• any visible error message, copied exactly if possible

Please do not send sensitive unpublished research, private notes, or backup files unless specifically requested.

Do not send backup files unless support specifically asks for them, because backups may contain private research data.

We try to respond to support requests, but response times may vary.

Backup and Restore

scri+ backups are created manually by you.

A backup may include:

• saved papers

• bundles

• notes

• Page Clips

• AI Briefings

• Research Context

• watchlist/profile settings

• app preferences

Backup files are not encrypted by scri+ in version 1.

Protect them as you would protect private research notes.

Cached PDFs are not included in backups.

Pro subscription status is not included in backups.

Restoring a backup replaces the current local app data on the device.

Keep a safe copy of important backups before restoring.

Subscriptions

scri+ Pro subscriptions are managed by the App Store or Google Play.

Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple or Google.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled according to App Store or Google Play rules before the end of the current billing period or trial.

To manage or cancel a subscription, use your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.

If Pro access does not appear after purchase, try Restore Purchases in scri+ Settings > Plan.

AI Briefings

scri+ prepares prompts for external AI tools and lets you paste results back into the app.

scri+ does not generate AI responses inside the app in version 1.

If an external AI result looks incorrect, incomplete, or unsuitable, verify it with the original papers and sources.

App Data

scri+ stores research data locally on your device.

Version 1 does not include cloud sync.

If you delete the app or clear app data without a backup, local data may be lost.
