- **App Preferences**: Local settings such as selected folder path (stored only on your device)
All recorded videos and screenshots are stored exclusively on your device and are never uploaded, shared, or transmitted anywhere.
## Permissions We Request
Our application requires the following permissions to function:
### 1. Storage Permissions (Android 9 and below)
- **READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE**: To access and save recordings to your selected folder
- **WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE**: To save screen recordings and screenshots to your device
**Note**: On Android 10 and above, we use Scoped Storage (MediaStore API) which does not require these permissions.
### 2. Media Projection Permission
- **FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PROJECTION**: Required to capture your screen content for recording and screenshots. This permission is requested each time you start a recording or take a screenshot.
### 3. Foreground Service Permission
- **FOREGROUND_SERVICE**: Required to run screen recording in the background while you use other apps.
### 4. Wake Lock Permission
- **WAKE_LOCK**: Prevents your device from sleeping during screen recording to ensure uninterrupted recording.
### 5. System Alert Window Permission (Optional)
- **SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW**: May be requested for displaying recording status overlay (if applicable).
**All permissions are used solely for the app's core functionality and are never used to collect or transmit your data.**
## How We Use Information
Since we do not collect any personal information, we do not use your information in any way. All data remains on your device:
- Screen recordings are saved locally
- Screenshots are saved locally
- No data is analyzed, processed, or shared

- Does not connect to the internet
