Screen Recorder Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 July 2026
Screen Recorder ("the app") is published by BG Apps. This policy explains what data the app handles.
1. Data stored on your device
Every recording you make is saved only locally on your device, inside the app's private storage. It is never uploaded, synced or shared with us or any third party. Deleting a recording in the app, or uninstalling the app, permanently deletes it.
2. Screen recording permission
The app uses Android's built-in screen capture (MediaProjection) permission to record your screen. Android requires you to grant this permission every time you start a recording — the app cannot record without this explicit, per-session confirmation, and cannot capture anything after you stop the recording or close the app.
3. Microphone access
If you turn on "Include microphone audio," the app also records audio from your device's microphone into the same video file. This is off by default and only active while you have it enabled and are actively recording.
4. Advertising
The app shows banner ads and, at most once per app open, a full-screen ad, served by Google AdMob. Ads never appear between tapping "Record" and your recording actually starting. AdMob may process device identifiers (such as the advertising ID) to serve and measure ads. In the European Economic Area and the UK you will be asked for consent before any ad is shown, and you can change your choice at any time under the privacy options icon in the app's toolbar.

5. Data we collect
We — the app developer — collect no personal data at all. The app contains no analytics, no accounts and no tracking beyond what Google AdMob requires to serve ads.
