Camera and Microphone Access
The App requests access to the device’s camera and microphone only when the user initiates a recording action. These permissions are required to record video and audio content as part of the App’s core functionality.
All recordings are processed locally on the user’s device. We do not access, monitor, transmit, or store recorded video or audio content on our servers.
Storage / Media Access
The App requires access to device storage to save recorded videos, list them within the App, and allow users to play, delete, or share their recordings.
All recorded files remain under the user’s control and are stored locally on the device unless the user explicitly chooses to share them using system-level sharing features.
Overlay Permission
The App may request overlay (draw over other apps) permission to display recording controls while other apps are in use.
This permission is strictly used for usability during screen recording and does not enable monitoring of user activity or content outside the recording session.
Device and App Information (Analytics & Crash Reporting)
The App integrates Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, services provided by Google LLC. These services automatically collect anonymized technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version, usage events, and crash logs.
This data is collected by Firebase on our behalf solely to help us understand app performance, improve stability, and fix technical issues. We do not receive personally identifiable information from these services.
In-App Purchases and Subscription Information
Premium features are offered through subscriptions processed exclusively by Google Play Billing.
We do not collect or store payment card details, billing addresses, or financial information. We only receive subscription status information (such as active or expired) from Google Play to enable or disable premium features.
Advertising Data
The App uses third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob and Meta Ads. These advertising partners may collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, and usage-related information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
We do not directly collect or control the data processed by these ad networks.
Information is collected through the following means:
Direct user interaction with the App
Automatic collection by integrated third-party SDKs (Firebase, AdMob, Meta)
System-level permissions granted by the user
No data is collected without user interaction or permission.
The App may include the following SDKs:
Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (Google LLC)
These SDKs operate under their respective privacy policies and process data independently as third-party service providers.
We do not sell personal data. Data may be shared only with:
Google (Firebase, AdMob, Google Play Billing)
Meta (advertising services)
Such sharing is limited to what is necessary for analytics, advertising, and subscription management.
Recorded videos remain stored on the user’s device until manually deleted by the user.
Analytics and crash data are retained according to Firebase’s retention policies.
Advertising data retention is governed by AdMob and Meta policies.
We apply reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect data processed through the App. However, no system can guarantee absolute security, and users should take appropriate precautions when using recording features.
Third-party services used by the App may process data on servers located outside the user’s country of residence. Such transfers are conducted in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
Access your personal data
Request correction or deletion
Object to or restrict certain processing
Requests may be submitted to support.screenrecorder@kinglets.tech.
Users may deny or revoke permissions at any time through device settings (note that core features may be unavailable).
Personalized ads can be disabled via device-level advertising settings.
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
