Privacy Policy — Screen Recorder: Video Edits

Screen Recorder: Video Edits ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App to record your screen, edit videos, and create content.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. We do not have servers that receive your content.

The App works entirely on your device. The following permissions are requested only to provide its features:

Permission — Purpose

• Camera — Record your face cam for Video Commentary, and record with the front and back cameras in Dual Camera mode

• Microphone — Record voice commentary, voiceovers, and narration

• Photo Library — Import your videos and photos into the editor, and save finished videos to your Photos app

• Screen Recording — Capture your device screen (via Apple's ReplayKit)

• Notifications — Tell you when a recording is finished and ready to edit

You can change any of these permissions at any time in your iPhone's Settings.

2. Video Editing

All editing — trimming, splitting, speed changes, filters, effects, text, stickers, music, voiceovers, covers, and exports — happens on your device. Your projects, clips, and exported videos are never uploaded to us.

3. Live Streaming

The App lets you broadcast your device screen and microphone audio in real time to third-party platforms you choose (such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, or a custom RTMP/RTMPS server).

• Your screen content and microphone audio are sent directly from your device to the streaming server you select. We do not receive, store, or have access to this streamed content.

• The stream key and server URL you enter are stored only on your device and are used solely to connect to your chosen platform. They are never sent to us.

• Once your stream reaches a third-party platform, that platform's own privacy policy and terms apply. We are not responsible for how those platforms handle your content.

• You are responsible for having the rights to broadcast any content you stream.

4. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions (weekly, monthly, and yearly plans). RevenueCat may process anonymized transaction data to manage your subscription status. Payments are handled entirely by Apple's App Store — we never see or store your payment card details. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.

5. Local Data Storage

All recordings, editing projects, exports, and app settings (such as your language and recording quality) are stored locally on your device. We have no access to your recordings or anything you create. Deleting the App removes this data from your device.

6. Third-Party Services

The App uses:

• RevenueCat — subscription management and purchase validation

• HaishinKit — an open-source library that runs on your device to send your live stream to the platform you choose; it does not send data to us

• Apple App Store — the "More from Us" section loads public information about our other apps (names, icons, screenshots) from Apple; no personal information is sent

We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting SDKs. We do not track you across apps or websites.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective Date" at the top shows when it was last updated. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
