The short version
Screenora does not collect, store, sell or share your personal data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Everything you create or save in the app stays on your device.
This Privacy Policy explains how Screenora : Widgets & Wallpaper (“Screenora”, “the app”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the app on iPhone and iPad, including the Screenora Home Screen widget.
1. Information we collect
We do not collect any personal information. Screenora does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, phone number or any other identifying details, and it does not use advertising or analytics software.
2. Information stored only on your device
To make the app work, Screenora saves the following locally on your device. It is never uploaded to us:
• Favorites and Recently viewed – the wallpapers you marked or opened.
• Studio creations – wallpapers you design, including the photo you chose as a starting point and your edit settings.
• Preferences – such as theme and lock screen preview style.
• Cached content – wallpaper images and catalog data, kept temporarily so the app loads faster.
You can clear cached images and favorites from the app’s Settings (gear icon on the Explore screen), clear Recently viewed from the Explore screen, delete a creation by opening it from My Wallpapers and tapping Delete, or remove all of this data by deleting the app.
3. Photos
• Saving wallpapers: when you tap Save, Screenora asks for permission to add images to your photo library. This permission only lets the app add photos; it cannot read or view your library.
• Creating from Photos: Studio uses Apple’s system photo picker. Screenora only receives the single photo you select. The app keeps a copy on your device for editing, without the photo’s location or other metadata, and never uploads it.
You can change photo permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app.
4. Network requests
Screenora downloads wallpaper images and catalog information from our content delivery network (CDN). As with any internet request, the CDN provider may automatically process technical data such as your IP address and device/browser type to deliver the files and protect the service. We do not use this data to identify you, and we do not combine it with other information. The Home Screen widget makes the same kind of request to show the daily wallpaper.
5. Sharing
When you use Share, the iOS share sheet sends the image to the app or person you choose. That transfer is handled by iOS and the receiving app, not by Screenora.
6. Children’s privacy
Screenora does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country).
7. Data security and retention
Because we do not collect personal data, we do not hold or retain it. Data stored on your device is protected by iOS security features and is removed when you delete the app.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data. Since Screenora does not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to provide or delete, but you are welcome to contact us with any questions.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the effective date above will be updated.
