ScreenMagic requires the following permissions to function:

- **activeTab & scripting:** Used only to capture screenshots of the current page or permit web content cleanup at your request.

- **storage:** Used to save your local settings and preferences within the extension.

- **downloads:** Used to save the generated screenshots and processed PDF files to your computer.

Since all data remains on your local machine, the security of your data depends on the security of your device. We do not have access to your files or screenshots.
