Slang (short for Scratchware Language) is an experimental object-oriented programming language implemented on Visual Basic. Some of its features include:

• A custom-built interpreter.

• Event-driven, statement-reliant syntax.

• Seamless integration with other terminals and shells.

• Customizability, including such for interpreter settings and color scheme.

To develop Slang programs, it is recommended to use the purpose-built IDE, Dialect.
