Truth

Please don’t lie to me.
It hurts more than knowing the truth, the truth I can settle with.
The truth might not be simple, or kind but its real
Even though the truth might hurt, it is better than finding out some other way
Please don’t lie to me
Please don’t say you can’t remember, or pretend you can’t hear me when I talk
In the end we will both be hurt, from the lies, and from the stories we hide
Here I guess this poem is not about lying but keeping part of YOUR life away from a friend.
Your life is your story, if someone gets mad because of that they are not a real friend
Friends don’t stop you from living your life
A Friend will laugh with you when you’re happy, and cry with you when you’re sad
If you have a friends like that, keep them, please, They are rare.
