I have joined scratched because I'm just involved as mentor in Milan coderdojo. Also I work as web and mobile (also native iOS) developer. So I thought that I could offer my support to complete the Scratch version for iPad.

This is an incorrect statement, you can have interpreters and virtual machines in the store because of how Scratch.app made Apple change the rules. So you could write and run a Ruby.app or Python.app. However you can not supply scripts from outside the ipad other than typing them in by hand. No downloading, no open with, no PASTE! But you could share anything you tapped in by hand.

Well I think Steve Jobs as a manufacturer can establish his own rules for working on i gadgets and decide which technologies should or shouldn`t be used on them. On the other hand sometimes he might have taken into consideration the public opinion so as not to disappoint the devoted customers of the Apple production.

The only real way to come back from a scratched LCD is to replace the LCD. I'd suggest replacing the scratched one with a new one... but keep it around. You may be surprised how many people with broken LCDs are willing to live with a scratched LCD at a discounted price.

I tried already LOCA (Liquid Optical Clear Adhesive), because I thought that filling the scratch gap might hide or make the scratch less noticeable. It did not work at all. The scratch looks the same.

My theory is that if you place a thin glass (an actual aftermarket glass, or a tempered glass) and use a liquid adhesive to stick the thin glass (though the glass should already come with adhesive) the scratches wouldnt be visible anymore. It should work by letting the glue fill the gap and letting the glass keep the gap filled flat with the glue so it keeps the scratches "invisible".

I used feviquick as a paint coat on scratches by use of toothpick sharper side for scratches mede by steel wires (deep enough) and after that screen was same as new while viewing ( satisfaction 95 to 99 %)

Samplr does have scratching, with two modes, one that skids over the whole sound file and another with a lot more inertia that sounds a bit more realistic.. it will depend on the length of sound you put in how much subtle control you will get.. long files will be less focused... there must be a lot of other options.. maybe the benefit of Samplr is you can scratch as many points on the sound file as you have fingers at the same time! .. and you can record the gestures..

we could do with an Automatable Au plug in that can do this by now me thinks..

I also wanted to do some casual scratching.. I downloaded the DJay LE app and bought a cheap Numark iDJ Live 2 controller. Works with your desktop computer and on your iPad rightaway....

You really need a crossfader to make the cuts..

For example, if your assigned scratch disk on your Windows machine is drive C:\, you can simply clean up and delete the files you no longer need. You can also move your files to a new location on your machine, let's say drive D:\. This will clear some space on your drive C:\ and you can continue using it as your scratch disk.

Similarly, if your assigned scratch disk on your macOS machine is Macintosh HD, you can simply clean up and delete the files you no longer need. You can also move your files to an external drive, if required.

By default, Photoshop uses your internal OS drive as the scratch disk. If you have more than one drive or partition, make sure to select the fastest drives with maximum free space as your scratch disk(s). You can also resolve a 'scratch disk full' condition by selecting additional drives for use as scratch disks.

Sometimes you might get the 'scratch disk full' error due to discrepancies in the document units. To avoid such instances, set correct units while creating or resizing your document Also, check your unit settings while you're cropping your documents or adjusting the canvas size.

Instead of a screen protector, you can put a nib on your Apple Pencil instead: a PenTip. PenTips make sure you can keep the fantastic display quality and revents your Apple Pencil tip from leaving scratches on your iPad screen.

My new iPad has a scratch that produces a rainbow effect on the screen. I have read that cerium oxide can be used to reduce the appearance of scratches on Gorilla Glass which is similar to the iPad/iPhone 4 glass, but it is hard to find step-by-step instructions on how to use it or any examples that it works.

You might check out the resurfacing compounds from TDI Smart Technologies. They seem to have come up with their own compound formula for removing scratches from Glass, Acrylic and even Gorilla Glass touch screen panels. Here's their link...

I fear that any attempt to polish out scratches could damage the touch-sensitivity of the glass. This might render your iPad useless. Remember, the glass is not just a glass. It's also the input device for the iPad, your mouse and keyboard, as it were.

The way to minimize scratches in the future is to use a case or cover to protect your iPad, and to avoid carrying your iPad together with hard or sharp objects such as keys, pens, or scissors. Never leave your iPad lying around uncovered. Always cover it or put it in a case when it is not being held in your hands.

According to a report by DigiTimes, Apple suppliers are facing production delays of the smaller iPad that Apple is reportedly launching on Oct. 17. Citing source "in Apple's supply chain," the blog reports that the iPad Mini, which will come in black and aluminum, are vulnerable to scratching because of its anodized finish.

It seems like metal pen tips for digital pens are getting more popular. In this review, I'll share with you my findings on how metal pen tips perform for writing and drawing, and whether they can scratch the glass display.

You can see from the list above that most metals are softer than glass except for hardened steel and certain metal alloys. Sand can scratch glass though because both sand and glass are Silicon Dioxide.

"I pressed down hard on my iPad Pro to scratch the glass display but I could not create any scratches." what a horrifying sentence to read, even knowing that glass is harder than the metal in the pen tip. Do you have a screen protector on you iPad? Do you think a metal pen tip would damage the protector?

Remix FX includes a set of buttons, sliders, and XY pads you can use to control several real-time effects common to electronic and dance music. It makes it easy to scratch mix your project, much like a DJ using a turntable, to play audio in reverse, to stop or downsample the song, and to apply a variety of other effects. 006ab0faaa
