Click on the pad labeled "Z" and click the Code tab to open the Scripting Area for this sprite.
This is the line of code we are going to edit to get our Z key to playback a sound.
Can you decode what is happening here already? How would we write this as a sentence? Maybe...
When someone presses the [Z] key, broadcast "Z", then broadcast "note on", then wait 0.5 seconds, then broadcast "note off" - but ONLY if the power is on!
What's missing? We need to tell it to play a sound!
While still on the [Z] sprite, click the [Sounds] tab to open the Sound Pane.
Hover over the [Choose a Sound] button.
Then click the [Upload a Sound] button.
This will open a finder window. Locate and upload the sound called "Kick 6".
Travis Scott Drum Kits > Kicks > Kick 6
Now you should see the waveform and editing tools for Kick 6 in your sounds pane for the Z sprite.
Click the Code tab.
Find this code block:
Then place it in the following space (see pictured to the right)
Click the Green Flag.
Press the [P] to power on.
Then, press the [Z] key.
We're going to repeat this process for every "Pad" sprite in our program.
Select the next pad and then go back to step 3.3 to import the follwoing sounds to every pad.
The list of what sounds I'd like you to upload is to the right. For now, it's important that you import these specific sounds for the next steps.

The 808 (Pads Q,W,E,R) - The "808" is a low frequency since wave sound most known for it's use in Hip Hop. The "boom boom" sound is named after the Roland 808 digital sampling machine which came pre-programmed with this now iconic sound.
Electronic Sweep (Pad 4) - These sounds are synthesized meaning they are electronic waves (sine, sawtooth, triangle, etc). Synthesizers like the Moog allowed musicians to create new creative sounds by mixing and manipulating sound waves.
