Proposal approval deadline
Students must initiate a meeting with the PP or MYP Co to get their learning and product goals officially approved.

Mandatory - Meet your supervisor
Discuss the following:
Review appropriate use of AI (link here)
Confirm your topic and goals are approved.
On Toddle, type in your topic and goals (your supervisor will help show you how to use Toddle)
Create your Google Doc report, share with supervisor, and upload to Managebac → Report section.
Share any research you’ve already done and discuss your topic in depth.
Discuss your personal interest and plan to write the first page of your report within the next week.
Start (or update) your product action plan in the Google Doc.
Decide on your success criteria and record them in the Google Doc.
Use Google Calendar to schedule your next meetings and agree on what to prepare.
Record this as your first meeting on the Academic Honesty section in Managebac.
Planning (Criterion A)
Submit the following on Managebac:
A learning goal.
Explain how a personal interest led to that goal.
Your intended product.
Success criteria for your product are completed.
An action plan for achieving your product is outlined.
This should be written in a Google Doc: aim for around 4-7 pages.
Deadline for supervisors to provide feedback for criterion A.
Feedback is provided using Criterion A
For any progress concerns, supervisors email PP coordinator and parents
Students are to make any adjustments from the feedback provided.
Meet with your supervisor: Product evidence
Provide evidence demonstrating that your product is in progress and making substantial headway
Provide evidence your action plan outlines the steps of your product development
Show evidence that ATL skills are being used in your process journal ie communication, research, critical thinking, time management etc.
Academic honesty second meeting can be recorded, supervisors will authenticate they believe the product to be your work.
PP Coordinator and parents are emailed by the supervisor if there are any concerns regarding the product progress
Your product must be in the final stages of completion
Meet with your supervisor to show your product or evidence of your product in its final completion stages
Show evidence of ATL skills in your process journal
PP Coordinator and parents are emailed if any concerns
Product Completion
Upload evidence of your product's progress (e.g. pictures, documents, videos etc) on Managebac. These will later be embedded in your report in the appropriate places.
Meet with your supervisor.
Show the actual finished product to your supervisor (if it is tangible and can be bought in).
Final Academic honesty meeting to be recorded, supervisors will authenticate they believe the product to be your work.
Your product is signed off by your supervisor for authenticity purposes in the academic honesty form.
The PP Coordinator and parents will be emailed if there are any concerns, such as delays or questions about authenticity.
Product Showcase (Mandatory)
Your product will be on display at the school during the day for students and teachers to view and provide feedback
You will need to discuss your product and the process it took to create it
Have surveys or interviews ready to record your data collected (used in Crit C)
Submit evidence of completed product (Continued improvements accepted)
Photos and videos
Visit your supervisor to explain the product
Deadline to record third and final meeting by both supervisor and yourself on Academic honesty form.
Draft Report: Applying skills (Criterion B)
Feedback is provided using Criterion B
Submit the following on Managebac:
Explain how your chosen ATL skill(s) was/were applied to help achieve your learning goal
Explain how your chosen ATL skill(s) was/were applied to help achieve your product.
Deadline for supervisors to provide feedback for Criterion B.
Make any adjustments to your report from the feedback provided.
Deadline to record second meeting by both supervisor and yourself on Academic honesty form.
Draft Report: Reflection (Criterion C)
Feedback is provided using Criterion C
Submit the following on Toddle:
Explain the impact the project has on yourselves and/or on your learning
Evaluate the product based on your success criteria, supported with evidence or examples
Draft: Full report due (Criteria A B C)
Include: Bibliography and Academic Honesty form.
Submission of PP Complete Draft Report on Managebac.
All evidence of your product is embedded in the report.
Check-in with your supervisor if necessary
Deadline for supervisors to provide final feedback for the final draft.
Make any adjustments to your report from the feedback provided.
FINAL deadline for the Report and Product is due.
You must upload your final report and bibliography to Managebac including your student number.
COMMUNITY EXHIBITION (Mandatory)
This is where you get to showcase your Personal Project.
Your parents, teachers and the wider community will be invited to view and ask questions regarding your PP.
