Welcome to AcadaMUN I, Winter Conference

Step into a Model United Nations experience built for those who think deeply, speak precisely, and act with intention.

Our conference is designed around one guiding principle: influence can matter more than outcomes. Whether you're writing resolutions in the General Assembly or navigating fast-paced backroom negotiations in Crisis, you are here to immerse yourself in unfamiliar scenarios, respond in real time, and shape the direction of your committee; not necessarily with theatrics, but with clarity and credibility.

What Sets Us Apart

  • Authenticity-Driven: We prioritize realism. Delegates are rewarded for strategic thinking, adaptability, and grounded decision-making.

  • Unorthodox Recognition: Our awards aren't always about who wins the war on paper. Winners are based entirely on individual merit, measured through our transparent, public rubric. Winning blocs and passing resolutions are not necessarily prerequisites for recognition, only influence, consistency, and excellence in your role.

  • Committee Immersion: Every committee is built to challenge delegates to step into roles that demand creativity under pressure, policy expertise, and diplomatic discipline.

Awards & Recognition

  • Individual Delegate Awards: Based on our public rubric, delegates may earn the titles of Best Delegate, Outstanding Delegate, or Honorable Mention in their respective committees. These honors are awarded based entirely on individual performance, not bloc success or committee outcome.

  • Delegation Awards: We also recognize overall delegation excellence with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Delegation Awards. These are calculated by taking the total rubric scores of all delegates from a school and dividing by the number of delegates; rewarding not size, but consistent quality across the team.

What to Expect

  • A clear scoring system that values influence over flashiness.

  • Unique committees designed to stretch your comfort zone, whether you’re debating at a podium or maneuvering behind the scenes.

  • A community of driven, thoughtful participants who take the work seriously and treat each other respectfully.

Whether you’re a returning veteran or first-time delegate, thank you for joining us. You’re not just attending a conference. You’re shaping one.
