ScottyPet is a pet adoption app. This page explains what data we collect and why.
What we collect
• Account: name, email, password (stored by our sign-in provider), phone number if you add it, and a city/location you type in
• Profile photo and pet photos you upload
• Pet listings and profile text you write
• Messages you send in the app
• A push-notification token so we can send you message and activity alerts
• If you use Google sign-in, Google shares your name and email with us so we can create your account
We do not use GPS. Location is only what you type.
How we use it
We use this data to run the app: sign-in, profiles, listings, chat, photos, and notifications. We do not sell your data. We do not use it for ads.
Who we share it with
• Supabase — accounts, database, and photo storage
• Google — only if you choose Google sign-in
• Expo — push notifications
Other users can see your public profile, listings, and messages you send them.
How long we keep it
We keep it while your account exists. You can delete your account in the app. That removes your account data we store.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, delete listings, and delete your account. For questions or deletion help, email applications@smarverse.io.
Children
ScottyPet is not directed at children under 13.

We may update this page. The date at the top will change.
