I believe great places don’t just happen—they are strategically envisioned and built to foster walkability, economic vitality, and social connectivity.
As a partner in the Golden Life Community, I lead efforts to help senior women find housing solutions that promote affordability, connection, and independence. We offer:
GoldenSpaces: Consulting on shared and independent senior housing.
Golden Voices: An online platform for mutual support.
The Mud Room: A space for women to find encouragement and guidance.
We are actively working on establishing the first Golden Community, providing a sustainable model for aging in place with built-in social and financial support.
My books explore urban development, human resilience, and systemic transformation:
Leaping Through the Momentum of Decline—A guide to revitalizing small towns through community-driven planning.
Help! We’re Falling and We Must Get Up—An analysis of interconnected societal trends and the risk of reaching tipping points of no return.
Living Matter: Living Matters, Matters of Living—Explores human consciousness, self-discovery, and the power of thought in shaping reality.
I Am a Tree—A beautifully illustrated children's book I wrote and illustrated, using the metaphor of a tree to explore growth, resilience, and interconnectedness.

My work is inspired by the landscapes, history, and highways of the American Southwest, places where time, memory, and imagination blur together. Whether capturing the twinkling lights of Juarez at night, the abandoned stretches of I-10 of the future, or a fictional roadside stop where sandwiches, cacti, and real estate intersect, each piece tells a story.
Let’s connect to build resilient, thriving communities together.
I am passionate about human empowerment, community-building, and sustainable prosperity. My work blends technical expertise with visionary creativity, helping communities and individuals navigate change, unlock potential, and create lasting impact.
While serving as a volunteer in Pflugerville, TX, he envisioned the Pflugerville Trail System, and helped build the first sections while Mayor. There are now over 50 miles of trails throughout the city.
Scott served a third term as Mayor of Pflugerville 9 years after his second term was completed. During this term the city secured a long-term water contract with the LCRA and began construction of Lake Pflugerville. The $40 million dollar project consisted of building a lake, a water treatment plant, a 17 mile pipeline and a water intake station on the Colorado River.
While a developer in El Paso, he developed two infill projects and a new subdivision. 1509 Upson is a 4 unit condominium development on a vacant lot in an early 1900s neighborhood near downtown and UTEP. The buildings were a modified floorplan from a book of brick buildings of the 1920s.
The Piazza Escondida is a 32 unit condominium development with 23 residences and 9 business spaces situated on 1.6 acres in a 1970s subdivision. It emulates an European styled piazza with the perimeter buildings enclosing a public space. The 5 housing types insure a mixture of ages and household types. The businesses include a restaurant, offering convenience to the residents.
The Rio Valley subdivision is a 62 acre mixed use development with a planned old style “Main Street”. It has a mixture of housing types under construction now, a central park and walking trails.
