Scott McLay Forbes

Hi, and welcome. This is my online hub for everything that concerns my work. If you don't already know me, I'm Scott McLay Forbes. I'm a student at Metropolitan Community College in Omaha, Nebraska. I'm studying graphic design. I'm also many other things, such as a painter, a comic book scriptwriter, a comic book artist, a fiction writer, a photographer, film composer, etc.

I'm very busy with an exciting new comic book project called Planetary Designation IL-9641, which is eating up my time and resources, but I'm making steady progress. You can see some of the artwork for this book on my Instagram.

I'm working on ink paintings right now. Many of those are actually comics artwork related to my science fiction universe that I've developed for one of my books, Hyperoptica. I'm also working on a revised and updated edition of Hyperoptica, that is in a more completed state, filling in many missing details and storylines that were absent in the first edition.

You're invited to join my comic book club, as hosted on my Concourse Studio Facebook page. Anyone who speaks "friend" may enter. And feel free to approach me about possible commissions or services in graphic design that I could render. I'm often willing to do projects at a very reasonable rate.

I also have a blog, "Interworld Ideation Blog."  I mainly use this for X posts that have become too long to daisy-chain.

I just started a YouTube channel, called Drawing Exercises.
