In an effort to increase understanding and promote behaviors that make Scottfield a great neighborhood in which to live, the following document addresses the most common points of conflict within the community and paths to resolution.
Please use the resource as necessary. Feel free to print out the English or Spanish translations to share with neighbors who may not be aware of our residential rules.
Neighbors who cherish reading have joined the littlefreelibrary.org network and invite you to stop by to browse selections, take a book, or share a book at any of the locations dotted around the Scottfield community.
The 85 Scottfield branch has been serving the community since 2013. Due to outreach communication by New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer and others, two new branches were recently erected.
Books are for children and adults and cover a full gamut of interests based on donations.
Think about making a loop to visit all of the branches on your next walk around the neighborhood.

Scottfield Civic Association is a 501 (c) non-profit administered by neighborhood volunteers. As an unincorporated area in New Castle County, the SCA serves to arrange for snow plowing, SCA newsletter (SCAN), SCA Community Watch (in conjunction with NCC Police), SCA community events (including Halloween Parade, House Decorating Contest, Spring Egg Hunt), and landscaping entrances. State and County officials regularly attend SCA meetings. These meetings provide an opportunity for residents to speak directly to elected officials about issues facing our community.
