I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at University College London and the London School of Economics & Political Science, having recently submitted my PhD in Economics at the University of Exeter. I work at the intersection of behavioural & experimental economics and applied microeconomics. I typically use large, observational datasets and causal inference methods to study information and beliefs, and judgement and decision making.
In my job market paper, I study how humans react to information in naturalistic settings using data from elite sports. I find that fans optimally weigh past athlete outcomes when making judgements about future outcomes. This behaviour is consistent with fans rationally reacting to information.
I am currently looking for jobs on the 2025-2026 academic job market.
