Fun Fridays are a fun and educational series of classes your child can enroll in after school during the month of February. Classes will occur every Friday in February (6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th). COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
Fit & Active – Two classes available: K/1 & 2/3
Cost: $15 enrollment fee
This enrichment course includes a variety of very active games/sports and will feature old fashioned backyard games like football, basketball, dodgeball and modern day gym fun. Different each week and loaded with lots of fun!!!
Participants will need: comfortable clothes, athletic shoes and a water bottle.

Yoga (Open to all grades)
Cost: $15 enrollment fee
This is a fitness class designed to use a combination of Yoga, Pilates, HIIT and dance. A large beach towel is recommended to lay on top of the yoga mat provided.

LEGO class (Open to all grades)
Cost: $15 enrollment fee
This class is for the imaginative child that loves Legos. Join Fun Friday Lego class to spend time with friends while using your imagination to build and create. Classes will be a combination of free build, crafts, challenges, and games. Legos will be provided, so please leave your own Legos at home.

Pet Therapy (Open to grades 2 & 3)
Cost: $15 enrollment fee
Children will read a story or listen to a story with a few therapy animals to hang out with. A relaxing environment to get your child to enjoy reading.

Cheerleading (Open to all grades)
Cost: $15 enrollment fee
Learn the fundamentals of cheerleading in a fun and supportive environment! Students will practice motions, jumps, basic stunts, cheers, and dance routines while building confidence, teamwork, and strength. No experience needed — just bring energy and a positive attitude!

Love computers and gaming? This class will start you on your way to designing on your own! Learn the basics of computer programming. We will use your school iPad to access coding apps where you will learn how to code.

Sweet Sounds of Books and Crafts (Open to all grades)

If you like story time, crafts and music, join us! Each week, the children will cozy up and enjoy one or more storybooks about music. Then they will create a fun related craft to bring home and share with their families.

Habitat Happenings by the Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium (Open to all grades)
Cost: $40 enrollment fee
The Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium will teach students to take a closer look at different habitats around the world and the animals that live there. During each week, the students will meet animals and learn what it takes to survive in some of the most unique places on Earth.

Curious Kids Intro to Urban Planning (Open to grades 2 & 3)

In this class we will explore the “4 types of places” through all kinds of creative mediums: Legos, map making, comic book strips, even real plants and dirt! A hands on class where we build the world we want, problem solving through creative thinking where we respect culture, environment, architecture and engineering and believe in community
