How Can I Help?

If you’re interested in using your skills or interests to volunteer your time to be on one of our teams, let us know! There are many opportunities to make a difference within our organization! Committee interest form coming soon!

Sunshine Cart Team 

This initiative is aimed at teacher appreciation and morale. Once a month the PTO will provide a cart of snacks and beverages to go around the school to spread "sunshine" to our amazing teachers! Volunteers on this team will help take the cart around the building and distribute the treats.

Time requirement: 1-1.5 hrs per month and members of this team will rotate opportunities to volunteer (at least 4 members at this event)

Star Student Team

Help celebrate our monthly Star Students! Our Board Coordinator (thank you Stephanie Moss!) has designed themed bulletin boards to recognize the Star Students of the Month and we need your help adding their names every month! Volunteers will also help prepare the trophies and rewards presented to the Star Students monthly. If availability allows, one volunteer may attend the monthly assembly to take photos and assist school administration as needed.

Time requirement: 1-2 hours per month

Box Tops Program 

The PTO Box Tops Program volunteer will manage all aspects of the Box Tops for Education program, including promoting participation, collecting receipts from the drop box at the Commissary and ensuring timely submission for reimbursement.

Time requirement: Flexible to your schedule, 1-2 hours per month.  

Event and Decorations Team

Help plan and bring our PTO events to life! This team works together to brainstorm ideas, organize activities, coordinate event details, and create memorable experiences for our school community. Events include Santa's Kottage, Boys Bash, Week of the Military Child, Teacher Appreciation Week, and more. Team members may also help design and assemble decorations, create photo backdrops, build balloon arches, decorate event spaces, and add the finishing touches that make each event special. If you enjoy planning, organizing, and getting creative, this is the team for you.

Time requirement: Varies per event, volunteer when interested. More info is put out about each event when the events get closer.

C.A.R.E. Coordinator (Courtesy Amenities & Restroom Essentials)

Help keep our staff restroom courtesy baskets stocked throughout the school year. This volunteer checks the baskets each month and refills toiletries and other essential items provided by the PTO. It's a simple but thoughtful way to support our teachers and staff by ensuring these everyday necessities are available when needed. 

Time requirement: Flexible to your schedule, 1-2 hours per month.
