Smart Composites Laboratory (SComp-Lab)  at the Department of Aerospace Engineering at KFUPM, KSA, is an engineering research and development facility which deals with  Design, Development, Testing and Analysis of Composite Structures along with their applications for Aerospace and Space Structures. A comparison of Space grade Composite materials with their metallic counterparts is also emphasized. Moreover, state of the art material and structural development for Space Applications is pursued relentlessly through a combinations of dedicated faculties, researchers, postgraduate and undergraduate research associates.  We strongly welcome professionals and researchers in the field of Materials Science, Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial and Manufacturing, Applied Physics and Mathematics to collaborate in both Numerical and Experimental domains of Space Structures .
