The writer of this story uses lots of Adjectives. Adjectives are words that describe something. For example - LONG SPIKY tail, SHARP RAGGEDY teeth.

Draw a picture of your own monster and use some adjectives (describing words) to tell me what she/he looks like. It doesn’t have to be scary. It could be fluffy cute and cuddly!
