The private individuals in the name of Mr. and Mrs. ROBERT Wong and Mr. And Mrs. NIKKI Dela Torres donated school supplies amounting to 18,100 to all identified SPED Learners of junior high school. The activity was conducted last July 20,2023 at Junior High Gymnasium.
The Bids and Awards Committee(BAC) conducted it's annual orientation to all Subject and Ancillary Coordinators to all Senior and Junior High School Teaching and Non-teaching employees For the purpose of reminding the procurement flow, PPMP making and submission and other salient tasks related to BAC-July 26,2023
Through the initiative of SPTA Officers under the leadership of Donnell John B. Contiveros, the procuremnt of 12 Plastic Water Tub Containers to be used in the comfort rooms both in junior and senior high school has been realized.
March 12-14,2023 the guidance office under the leadership of Mrs. Marissa A. Matillano and Mrs. Victoria S. Cordero and in participation of Ms. Sahara Lei L. Adtoon, school nurse initiated a three-day seminar workshop to the selected Grade 9 students to join the youth development program. The activity is in collaboration with the Province of Davao del Sur thru the PSWDO- Population Division and Department of Education.
March 13, 2023 , the Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao department (EsP)under the leadership of Janelle E. Taculin conducted the annual spiritual program as part of EsP Curriculum.
The spiritual recollection among Grades 10 and 12 students served as basis that the institution is integrating spiritual dimension aside from academic performance of students.
The activity is participated only with 118 students both in the senior and junior level students who are interested in the activity regardless of their religions, beliefs and races.
Together with Miss Taculin is Mam Victoria S.Cordero and Mrs. Perlita F. Andrade, junior high teachers.
The School GAD Technical Working Group is jury duty to respond the call of the Commission on Audit (COA) regarding the joint circulars, mandates, findings, and the programs and projects initiated as one of the Implementing Units (IUs) of Davao del Sur.

February 27,2023 ,Mr. Herman Aldous R. Bodikey Jr., Division Program Supervisor initiated ocular inspection as to the safety of the school's area for the incoming SPA ART ATTACK 2023 this coming March 3-5 at Sta Cruz National High School.
The presence of Mr. Bodikey signifies good governance and leadership under the leadership of our Schools Division Superintendent Nelson Lopez of Davao del Sur.
March 3, 2023 the School Parents Teachers Association under the leadership of Mr. Donnell John B. Contiveros conducts MidYear General Assembly to a more than 3,000 parents whose children are currently enrolled at Sta Cruz National High School.
The primary purpose of the general assembly is to inform the parents about the recent issues and concerns that the school is facing nowadays.
The Special Education Program under the leadership of Mrs. Cheryll C. Casas actively involved the parents about the incoming psychological test to all identified SPED learners.
The activity aim to inform the parents regarding one of the major activities that the program can best offer to their child.
This coming March 3,2023 a group of medical experts will render their services intended for the SPED learners.

Sta Cruz NHS joined the Mindanao-wide Cultural Dance Drama Competition at Sultan Kudarat, Parang Maguindanao, Feb 4, 2023.
The 20 students-performers confidently and gracefully executed the dance masterpiece entitled: SWAKI.
The team garnered the Second Runner-up, with a cash price of 30,000.00.
Selected faculty enthusiastically participated the Red Cross Council Management Training at Cor Jesu College, February 4-5,2023.
The primary objective of the activity is to train and develop advisers to manage their councils aligned with the vision,mission and objectives of the Red Cross Youth and the Philippine Red Cross.
The SCNHS Parents and Teachers Association luckily and graciously meet the ever dynamic Governor Yvonne Cagas of the Province of Davao del Sur, February 1, 2023 at the Provincial Capitol of Davao del Sur.
In framed is the former Governor, Marc C. Cagas and the husband of the present Governor, former Municipal Councilor of Sta Cruz, Mr. Doydoy Lagrada , now the Governor Deputy, Brgy. Captain Dennis B. Ganzon who positively rendered their time as truly public servants of Davao del Sur.
The team is spearheaded by the SPTA President Donnell John B.Contiveros blissfully succeeded the primary objective in going to the Office of the Governor.

The Research team under the leadership of Mr. Ronald A. Diaz conducted final defense session to grade 10 STE students as part of research development curriculum of the Science and Technology program.
The Schools Division Superintendent Nelson C. Lopez,CESO V(middle) visits Sta Cruz National High School for the purpose of monitoring the National Achievement Test of Grade 12.
There are 711 takers for the two-day examination ( January 30-31, 2023) at the Senior High School Building.
In line with the framed of personalities is Mr. Donnell John B. Contiveros, SPTA President who happen to see Mrs. Aragon for school-related endeavor.
The Commission on Election of Santa Cruz, Davao del Sur graciously thanking the leadership of Principal Aragon for allowing the agency to conduct a satellite registration and orientation to all students aged 15-18 yrs old.
The activity is in line with the upcoming Sangguniang Kabataan Election and Barangay Election this coming October 2023.
The aforementioned activity was initiated last January 24 at SCNHS Gymnasium.
The Creative Team under the manship of Principal Josephine A. Aragon of Sta Cruz National High School donated an outdoor set of table and chairs to the junior high school.
The money was taken from the price given to the team last December 23,2022 during the Christmas Tree and Parol Making Contest, Municipal Level.
January 27,2023|| The SPTA conducted its regular monthly meeting under the leadership of SPTA President Mr. Donnell John M. Contiveros.
The meeting highlighted about the repair of two comfort rooms and renovation of the Saranggani buildings in the Junior High School, School Zone Signages in the Senior High School and the proposal for the two-story building in the Junior High School.
January 18-20, 2023 the Local Disaster Risk Management Team under the leadership of Romulo Z. Birondo, LDRRMO-III in the Municipality of Santa Cruz conducted the mandatory training to all public sectors regarding the importance of basic skills in disaster risk reduction and management. More so,under RA 10121,Rule 10 an integration of the program to the curriculum is a must.
Vigoriously, Mr. John Michael G. Abangan, JHS SDRM Coordinator and Ms. Laarni Orpilla,SHS Cooedinator accepted the challenge and seriously monitor the three days activities in collaboration with the disaster risk management officers of the Local Government Unit of Santa Cruz.
On the other hand, the selected 15 senior and 28 junior high school students strongly manifested their attributes and know-how through active participation and listening skill per session.
The training is pursuant to the IRR of RA 10121 also known as Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010.
January 16, 2023, TLE Department in collaboration with the Barkada Kontra Droga Organization launches its Feeding Program with the dynamic leadership of Sahara Lei Adtoon, School Nurse,Geonor C. Adolfo, TLE coordinator, Marissa A. Matillano ,BKD coordinator.
The activity is enthusiastically participated by Hon. Atty. Michelle B. Gutierrez , Municipal Councilor and the identified students of Junior high school.
