- I have seen a lot of people saying that this is bad because it is just a set-up for season 5, i strongly disagree, just because it ends on cliff hanger it means that this is only a 10 episodes trailer, season 4 deepens on many characters and that pays off later, take normal assassin in episode 4 and spring-wind ichiro in episode 9 as an example, in episode 4 we get to know a little more about normal assassin's past and why he is like he is, also showing a lot of courage when trying to stop that robber, that courage influences on spring-wind ichiro and motivates him to fight white fox in episode 9, he tried to fight someone who was stronger than him, just like normal assassin did on episode 4. Season 4 enriches the relationship between these two characters, deeping and developing them, season 4 has more stuff like this but i think you already get my point.

-I'm sorry but manjusaka is probably the worst character on the entire series, she is not interesting, she is not charismatic, she is not likeable at all, her only motivation and reason to exist is that she liked seven and got jealous and that's why she wanted to kill him, wich i find it weird cus she states she also likes other two guys, shes not even a good yandere.

-Green Phoenix: My favourite character this season and probably the whole series. The racconto where they show his past and motivations is beautiful, but lets focus on his story and why i like him so much, they fisrt tell us why he wanted to kill the leader of the shadow killers, how the shadow leader killed is father, master, and entire kingdom. When he fails his revenge, he does not regret it, but instead he accepts it and says goodbye to his disciple. "Over the years the only thing i misscalculated was the human relationships" he learned to appreciate what really matters and chosed to do the right thing, despite having lost his chance to take revenge, besides, the moment he explained all his plan was really satisfactory, it ansewered a lot of questions, this character has the best conclussion in the whole series.

-Jiang and redtooth: They deepen on these two, the thing i liked more is that now is clear why redtooth made a deal with that blood demon, they ansewered many questions but it looks like they are going to do something with them on later seasons, besides, their fight was probably the best on the whole series, the choreography was dynamic and fun, the soundtrack and the context of the fight was also very good, and specially the detail that during the fight they are connected by a chain they can't break, wich makes sense considering the relationship and the context of jiang and redtooth.

-The underrated episode 4: one of the many reasons i love scissor seven so much is for how alive its world feels, this includes the side characters, i love that this series takes its time to deepen and to tell us more about side characters that didn't seem to be important, but somehow this series manages to make them interesting and likeable (except manjusaka) that's why i liked this episode so much, and i think it is overhated, normal assassin turned into one of my favourite characters after watching it.

However, even if Scissor Seven is renewed for a fourth season, there is likely to be a bit of a wait. Traditionally the show is not released on Netflix until sometime after the Chinese airing, with at least an eighteen-month gap between seasons.

However, season three ended with a title card confirming that a Scissor Seven film was in production for release in 2022. This may well push back production on season four somewhat - so it's entirely possible that season four will premiere as late as 2024!
